Capital CityDIGITAL

Austin, Texas

Fifteen years making Fortune 500 websites convert. Now working on yours.

I'm Sol Osiatynski. I spent my career running conversion optimization for Adobe and Evolv AI — testing, measuring and rebuilding pages for brands with millions of visitors a month. Capital City Digital, based in Austin, brings that same discipline to local service businesses.

No pitch deck, no retainer talk. Just a straight read on what your current site is costing you in calls.

Why most local sites underperform

Most local websites explain what you do. Almost none of them ask for the work.

Three things go wrong on almost every local business site I look at, and “make it prettier” fixes none of them.

01

It doesn't look like what you are

The polished ones bury what the customer came for — the phone number, the hours, whether you can fix it today. The dated ones do worse: thirty years of doing the work properly, and a page that reads like a weekend operation. Either way the site is describing a business you aren't.

02

Whoever wrote it has never done your job

Most local site copy comes from a designer filling a text box — "quality service you can trust," "family owned and operated." Nothing only you could have said. Meanwhile the questions people actually arrive with — what this usually runs, how long it takes, whether you've seen this before — go unanswered until they call. If they call.

03

It was built once and abandoned

Handed over, never touched. Hours go out of date, the SSL certificate lapses, the Google listing drifts out of sync, and reviews go unanswered. A site is a thing you keep, not a thing you buy.

What I do

Three things, done properly.

Most shops sell you a build and disappear. The build is the easy part — what makes the difference is the year that follows it.

  1. The rebuild

A new site in three to four weeks, designed around the one action that matters for your business — the call, the booking, the quote request. Mobile first, fast on a truck's LTE connection, written in plain language, and structured so Google understands what you do and where you do it.

  2. The care plan

Hosting, backups, and monitoring for uptime, SSL and DNS, so a lapsed certificate never takes you offline for a week. Unlimited content edits, one at a time, back within two business days. Google Business Profile kept current, and reviews answered on a schedule.

  3. The conversion work

The enterprise part, sized honestly. On a site with real traffic that means live experiments measured properly, one at a time. On a single-location business it means a structured audit and a prioritised list, because a few hundred visitors a month cannot produce a trustworthy test and I won't pretend otherwise. Either way: decisions from evidence rather than taste.

Who you'd be working with

Why someone who optimized for Adobe is building sites in Austin.

For fifteen years my job was finding the friction in other people's websites — the extra form field, the buried button, the headline that answered the wrong question — and proving with data what happened when we fixed it. Eight of those years were at Adobe as a Senior Business Consultant, then as Director of UX Strategy at Evolv AI.

That work is rigorous and it is well paid, and it also happens at a distance. The businesses I most enjoy helping are the ones where a fixed website changes something that same week — where ten more calls a month is a real difference to a real person, not a rounding error on a dashboard.

So this is a deliberately small practice. I take on a limited number of Austin businesses at a time, and I do the work myself.
